Ignatia amara.
Ignatia amara, ou Strychnos ignatii, est un petit arbuste de la famille des Loganiaceae. Son fruit est une fève, la fève de Saint Ignace.
La teinture mère d’Ignatia est obtenue par décortication de la fève, puis séchage et enfin mac ration dans l’alcool de celle-ci.
La principale utilisation d’Ignatia est de soigner les sujets nerveux, anxieux, irritables, qui ont le trac.
